I have been praying for my pen pal in Cambodia. After the September extreme flooding, the rice crops have been doing poorly and he didn't think his family would have enough food. We share prayer requests and his was just for his family to have food... it broke my heart. I started praying for him and all of the other families in Cambodia to have enough food in September. Four months later, I heard from him that there has been an overload of fish coming into Cambodia, so he, his family and the other families are going to have enough food this year. I know that only God could have provided an answer like this in the most desperate of times. I thank You and praise You my God!!!!! - GAMP Less

I have been having temptations to fall into sin, and a couple of times I've fallen into it. But I repented and asked Heavenly Father to help me find the strength to resist the temptations. Suddenly, a voice in my head said, "Alma 32:5." I instantly went to that verse in the Book of Mormon. I read that verse and verse 6 and they BOTH had to do with my prayer! I read the whole chapter and the WHOLE CHAPTER felt to be directed exactly at me. I know that Heavenly Father is watching over me and that he doesn't give us more temptations than we can handle. I also know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I also know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who gave his "only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - GAMP Less

God through your love and guidance, I have found the peace that I have been searching for for years. I know I probably would have liked for things to be smoother quicker, but having to wait and pray for what I wanted, has made me feel closer to you again. In my youth and ignorance, I remember getting mad whenever I would ask my mother to do something and she would always say If God allows it. I would be frustrated and feel as if I could do things on my own. Wow does age and living really teach you that without you God I would have nothing. Not my beautiful children, some of whom I did not give birth to naturally, but in my heart I couldn't bear to live without. My husband, who would do anything for me. Who I am slowly trying to teach him my faith. I just wanted to THANK YOU GOD for not giving up on me and for hearing my prayers. Thank You so much, Lord God and Lord Jesus for letting this saturday to be a free one for me so i could attend the make-up lesson which i also have given my word to my friend and the facilitators that i would be going for it. My working days are based on a roster arranged by my manager and although i havent told her anything about the lesson, thank You God and Lord Jesus once again for miraculously letting my off-day fall on the particular day i would have the lesson!!
